Are you ready to shop the “it” Disney fashion collab of this season?
The Harry Lambert for Zara x Disney collection for men, women, and kids, opens in Zara stores and online across UK and Europe in a few hours but we have already gotten a sneak preview at the flagship Selfridges on London Oxford Street, where the collection launched 3 days early in the pop up store – as a taster of Selfridges’ Disney Christmas theme coming up this year.

Long queues were formed outside the pop up store in Selfridges, ground floor, from 22-24 September as Disney and Zara fans waited impatiently to shop the latest designer collaboration with Harry Lambert.
I visited the store on the first and last day of the exclusive presale, and the crowds showed no sign of depletion, unlike the fast selling most-wanted pieces of the collection.

The The Harry Lambert x Disney Zara designs have a strong retro aesthetic, t-shirts and cardigans inpired by 80s and 90s fashion with bold embroideries, stripes, logo or cartoon prints and contrasting necklines, everything in warm, vibrant colors.
Just one piece from the collection can define an entire outfit.
Women’s dresses, on the contrary, are more polished and designed around elements of the signature style of female Disney characters – which means lots of of bows and polkadots, mini lengths and co-ords and several bubble hemlines on skirts and shorts.
The fastest selling styles for women’s were undeniably the logo t-shirts, the Daisy Duck or the contrasting blue-pink bow knit cardigans, and the Mickey-embossed jeans. The Mickey ears women’s handbags and fluffy beanies were also a huge success.
There was also lots of faux fur – a major trend this winter season – and fluffy knit around the collection.
As about women’s shoes, you could choose between a complete Minnie mode square toe or a white fluffy pump.
When it comes to the mens’ collection, all shoes were nowhere to be seen since after Day 1, and accessories like ties and boxers were also flying off the shelves.
I personally invested in the red and yellow fluffy knit with a Minnie Mouse logo, the bow-embroidered satin and faux-fur mini dress which had fellow shoppers stunned as I walked out of the fitting room, and the pink satin mini dress which is just good old me style and what I usually go shopping for.
To all that I added a cute set of pastel colored hair clips for my bad hair days.
I would go back to shop more Harry Lambert x Disney Zara for one of the cardigans, possibly one of the logo t-shirts, the fluffy handbag, and the pastel pink opaque tights.
You can additionally shop the collection from ZARA online and in-store across UK and Europe starting today, September 25, before Harry Lambert x Disney Zara becomes available online also from Selfridges on October 2.
The pop up store at the flagship Selfridges on London Oxford Street will remain open.
