El. Marneri galerie presents the exhibition “From Darkness to light”, a deeply symbolic work of the philhellene artist Stoian Donev, “Light and Darkness”, debuting exclusively at the famed gallery close to the Acropolis Museum in Athens. A not-to-be-missed exhibition for locals and tourists alike, open throughout the summer period.
The artist brilliantly utilizes the two contradictory meanings with the purpose to signify that with poetry, “light can dominate darkness”. Prompted by Donev’s work, 54 talented greek and international philhellene artists in the area of contemporary jewellery, painting and design get inspired and express their personal perception of “light conquering darkness”.
The exhibition launched May the 24th and will be complete in 4 parts. Stoian Donev’s work will be exposed at the galerie throughout the exhibition.
