I could never persuade myself to take off such a marvellous wedding dress as Princess Catherine’s – you only wear it once anyway. But she did. Before the evening celebrations with close friends and family at Buckingham Palace, the newly-wed Princess changed her elegant wedding dress to another white long gown, plain but made also from white satin gazar. This time the dress was strapless so the Princess had to cover her shoulders in an ankora woolen bolero.
