The British Fashion Council has announced the four recipients of this year’s Fashion Forward initiative, which are womenswear designers Mary Katrantzou, Louise Gray and Henry Holland (all three of whom always create a buzz with their fashion shows) and, last but not least, menswear designer James Long, who is the first menswear designer to be sponsored by this 6-year-old scheme.

The 4 designers will all receive sponsorship to show in London Fashion Week for two consecutive seasons.
Fashion Forward aims to provide funding to emerging British designers. To be eligible, designers will either have progressed through NEWGEN or be at a similar stage in their business.
