Ivan Patúc and Karin Patúcová-Lunterová showing in Athens

Slovak artists Ivan Patúc and Karin Patúcová-Lunterová will be showing in Chili Art Gallery in Athens until this weekend.

Karin creates through painting and sculpture through classic materials, like clay, which she chose as her main material for her series for Chili Art Gallery.

Ivan Patúc investigates through his work the contradictions between past and present. He goes back to the roots of civilazation and re-creates them in a new context. Ivan creates with wood and sheets of aluminium and bronze.

The talented duo have graduated from the Academy of Art and Design of Bratislava, where they both live and work. Ivan has been awarded 1st prize by the Museum of Lauzane for the art competition «Sports and Olympic» (Beijing 2008) whereas Karin has won 1st prize at the Art and Architecture Competition “Monuments 68-89” in Kosice, Slovak Republic.
